If someone asked you, “Do you think worrying will change your situation?” I am sure you would say, “No!” so should you keep doing it? Worry never changes anything. Start listening to yourself and other people and each time you worry, or hear “I’m worried,” say to yourself, that is a useless statement. Since we realize the uselessness of worry, we should stop saying it, remove that word from your vocabulary.
People say things like, “I am worried about my children, I am worried about layoffs at work, I am worried about the economy, I am worried about retirement, I am worried about gaining weight, I am worried about getting old, and all kinds of other useless statements. Well, stop worrying about your children, spend more quality time with them. Don’t worry about gaining weight, eat right and exercise. Defeat worry by taking action! However, if you have no power over a particular worry such as the economy, stop dwelling on it and instead focus on what you can control.
Worry immobilizes us. We sit and worry and do very little if anything that might help our situation. Worry dis-empowers us! It steals our peace and joy and makes us age faster. Some people feel they are obligated to worry and say things like, “I can’t help it, I am just a worrier.” Of course we can help it. We have the power to choose our words and our thoughts.

Focus on the present moment.
Jesus Himself told us to focus on the present moment. He said that today has enough troubles of its own without us looking to the future for more (Matthew 6:34). Don't ask yourself, “But what if…?” Don't think about what “might happen” or what is “likely to happen.”
Don’t listen to the predictions of reporters.
Don’t get hung up on the predictions of “experts.”
The fact is, no one really knows what’s going to happen.
God is the only true Expert. He doesn’t make guesses based on the jumbled data at hand—He simply knows.
Be prudent in the moment. Focus on the present need.
Instead of saying, I’m worried,” replace negative useless words with, “I can handle any problem or situation in my life.” “I have faith that situations in my life are working for me not against me.” “Where there is a will, there is always a way.” Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
In Philippians 4:6-7, St. Paul said, “Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Although not original, hopefully these tips were helpful to you.
Keep your chin up—and your eyes on God.
